the position of:
BI Project Manager

Position Summary:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects to conceptualize and develop
complex data models and analytical and operational dashboards and reports. The Project Manager role involves
estimating, planning, execution, and administration of multiple client projects across the full project lifecycle, including
strategy through implementation for moderate to high complexity and high risk initiatives. Ability to independently
plan, organize and control the activities of multiple, large scale, cross-functional global project teams.
Key responsibilities:
Support BI program development and technological projects.
· Lead the development of complex data warehouse architectures and data models
· Drive further enhancement of system architecture with SAP Basis team
· Develop, implement and apply standards, procedures and tools to provide consistent, accurate, timely
information
· Liaise with business users and developers to ensure effective communication and address routine production
data and application issues
· Manage projects and provide work direction to assigned staff on the execution and completion of assigned
projects (i.e.define purpose, objectives, project activities, milestones and deliverables, monitor work performance
and tracks progress to ensure project goals and time lines are met)
· Oversee the ongoing development of diverse Business Warehouse applications
· Be responsible for the world-wide BI data models enabling fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis and
insight generation.
· Willingness to travel
Requirements:
A master’s degree in business informatics, computer science or a related field with a strong analytics and
communications background
• Extensive experience in SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Business Objects
• Considerable experience in data modeling and data warehouse management
• Fluent English language skills required, German language skills are a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution skills, problem solving skills, interpersonal
skills to build strong internal/external working relationships.
• Considerable experience in all phases of project management including managing project teams
• Considerable knowledge of strategy formulation and execution.
• Strong research and analytical skills to support strategic and business development activities; ability to
conceptualize and develop options and recommendations to support decision making.
• Flexible and thrive in an environment with frequent and competing deadlines, multiple tasks and high
performance expectations.
• A demonstrated ability to supervise, train, mentor, teach, coach, and develop staff
